STUDY VISA<\/strong><\/p>\n

Study visas allow entry to Italy for long-stay or short-stay periods, with the purpose of study, vocational training or study\/postgraduate- exchange and mobility program-language course.<\/p>\n

Check the right visa depending on the kind of study activity you intend to conduct in Italy:<\/p>\n

  1. a) University pre-enrolment<\/u>
    \nForeign nationals who have already completed the pre-enrolment procedure for BA or MA at Italian Universities or AFAM Institutes and already obtained the so called \u201cDichiarazione di valore\u201d<\/a> (to be obtained at the Consular section of the Embassy) can apply for a study visa<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      \nApplicants who need visas for vocational training or internship, please refer the following documents .<\/li>\n
    2. c) Enrolment to single University classes,, exchange programs, language courses or post-graduate courses<\/u><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Students who intend to enroll to exchange programs or other courses can apply for study visa according to the following .<\/p>\n

      Students enrolled to Italian public or private universities authorized to issue legal value decrees in post-graduate courses (PhD, masters [other than Laurea Magistrale], specialization and post-doc) must submit the documents enlisted in the following

      WHERE TO APPLY<\/p>\n

      Applications for study visa should be submitted directly at the Embassy of Italy. To book an appointment, please write to visti.mascate@esteri.it<\/a>. Please bring with you your original passport and the application form <\/a>duly filled-in and signed.<\/p>\n

      Please be aware that the study visa is a national visa valid for Italy only. Therefore if you plan to visit other Schengen countries while you are studying in Italy you should need to apply for a Schengen visa for the country you wish to visit.<\/p>\n
