On the sidelines of the Gulf Cooperation Council Summit, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni met with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of Oman.
The meeting focused on key regional issues, starting with the stabilization of Gaza and the situation in Yemen and the Red Sea. In this context, Prime Minister Meloni expressed appreciation for Oman’s mediation role, including efforts to foster a nuclear agreement with Iran.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to review bilateral relations, highlighting the excellent cultural cooperation and the growing interest of Italian companies in supporting Oman’s development plans.
