Following the temporary relocation of the Italian Embassy in Tehran to Baku, to minimize inconvenience to users, Iranian citizens are advised that they may apply for a visa at any Italian embassy or consular office accessible from Iran where they can legally reside. Please contact consolato.teheran@esteri.it for information on countries accessible to Iranian citizens and to request a visa appointment, indicating the type of visa requested and any family ties with EU citizens. Regarding study visas for enrollment in the 2026/2027 academic year, instructions for submitting applications will be issued following the publication of the Procedures of the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), which govern the procedures for enrollment and application for entry visas.
