Users are hereby informed that the option to pay for consular services via digital payment methods at the Italian Embassy in Muscat has been introduced. The following payment methods are available:
– POS machine: Payment is only possible with a debit card issued by a local bank.
– Bank transfer: The reason for payment must include the full name and surname of the person receiving the consular service (especially if different from the account holder) and, preferably, the consular service requested. Consular collected fees are issued only upon confirmation of receipt of the amount due in the dedicated Omani Rial account. However, the possibility for users to pay for consular services using cash remains guaranteed.
