The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation offers scholarships to foreign citizens to foster international cooperation in the cultural, scientific and technological fields, and to promote Italian language and culture.
As in previous years, Oman has been included in the list of beneficiary countries for the 2026-27 academic year, with scholarships offered to foreign students for a total of 27 months’ allowance for the Sultanate.
These scholarships are offered to complete master’s or bachelor’s degree courses, advanced courses in art, music and dance (AFAM), PhDs, co-supervised research projects, and advanced courses in Italian language and culture, attending public or legally recognized Italian educational institutions for a study period of 9 months, 3 months for Italian language and culture courses.
Applicants must complete and submit the online application form, available upon registration at the following link: https://studyinitaly.esteri.it . Applications will be evaluated by a committee established by the Italian Embassy. The list of selected candidates will be published on the Embassy’s website. Successful applicants will receive a monthly allowance of €1,200. The application deadline is March 26, 2026, at 2:00 PM (Italian time).
