Re-entry visa is required if the holder of the residence permit is transiting in a Schengen Member State while traveling to their
final destination in Italy.
If the holder of the residence permit is transiting in a Country which is not part of the Schengen space (eg. UK, UAE, Qatar, Turkey, Egypt, etc.) while traveling to their final destination in Italy, a consular declaration should be requested from the Embassy of Italy at the email address visti.mascate@esteri.it prior to the intended departure.
