Accompanied by the Ambassador of Italy Federica Favi, the President of the CERMAC, Mr. Enrico Turoni, a Consortium based in Bologna and focused on the internationalization of Italian producers of technologies and products for agriculture together with other delegates of the Emilia Romagna Region met today in Muscat the Undersecretary of the Omani Ministry of Agriculture Ahmed Al Bakri, as part of a rich program of meetings intended to start collaborations with the Sultanate in the agricultural sector.
In addition to the institutions, the Italian Embassy in Oman organized meetings for the delegation of Emilia Romagna with local trade associations, phytosanitary experts, the Rector of the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Muscat, as well as with the FAO Representative in site to explore the opportunities in the Sultanate to achieve capacity building in the agricultural sector through the technologies and products of Italian excellence.
